| Jim Myers has been authorized to sell the top banner ad
space (see above) by the taking of bids and selecting the successful
bidder. Myers Communication designs and operates the BVFA (Brazos
Valley Football Association) website. The cost of this service is
paid for by selling banner ad space and a per team cost paid by member
associations. This is the notice for the bid for the top banner ad
space.
(1) The top banner ad is space for the period beginning August 1,
2008 and ending July 31, 2009.
(2) The minimum bid amount is $1,000.00.
(3) The maximum height of the banner ad graphic is 120 pixels and the
width is 400 pixels. The graphic must be in GIF or JPG format.
(4) The banner ad may either be linked to a page on the BVFA website
(included in bid) or linked to the successful bidder's website.
(5) In addition to the top banner ad space on the BVFA website the
bid also includes:
(A) First option and choice of location
space (subject to area designated by BVFA) for setting up a booth (tent)
and operating as a Vendor at the 2008 BVFA Player Certification &
Weigh In (August 16, 2008) in Joshua (subject to meeting Vendor
Requirements). Notification of the decision as to whether
this option will be exercised is to be included with the bid.
No first option priority for any other BVFA event, including Super Bowl
games, is included as part of this bid. If bidder desires to be a
Vendor at any other BVFA event a Vendor Application must be submitted
for approval.
(B) A text ad of up to 50 words that will
appear in BVFA News emails sent to subscribers during the football
season. Any changes in the ad format must be received no later
than Monday of the week it is to appear. Emails are usually sent
on Thursday or Friday.
(C) The successful bidder has the right to
refuse any game pictures from being displayed on the Index Page (Home
Page) of the BVFA website that include advertising as part of the
picture (company name, contact info, URL, etc.). The pictures that
are placed on the Index Page are chosen by the webmaster, subject to
this option. The successful bidder may send pictures with
advertising, but they may not be chosen to be displayed on the Index
Page.
(D) The above services are all that are
covered by this bid. The successful bidder does not become the
"sponsor" of BVFA, exclusive or otherwise.
(6) The successful bidder may not lease, sell, transfer or give the
services covered by this bid to anyone else. Graphics and links
must not contain materials that would be inappropriate. The
decision as to what is classified as inappropriate is that of the
webmaster.
(7) Bids may be emailed by clicking
here or sent by letter to Jim Myers - P. O. Box 79 - Cleburne,
TX 76033-0079. Mailed bids must be received at the Cleburne Post Office
by July 25, 2008.
(8) Bids must be submitted during the period beginning July 15, 2008
and ending at noon (12 pm CST) on July 25, 2008. Bidders will be
notified by email no later than July 27, 2008 of the status of their
bid. The amount you bid is confidential and will not be disclosed
to other bidders. The submission of bid indicates that the
submitter has read and agrees to the terms of this proposal.
(9) The full-payment will be due July 31, 2008, unless the successful
bidder selects the option to pay the amount of the bid in two equal
payments; the first will be due on July 31, 2008 and the second on
August 31, 2008. Payment (check or money order) is to be made out
to Jim Myers and mailed to Jim Myers - P. O. Box 79 - Cleburne, TX
76033.
